I’ve spent the better part of my day trying to figure out how to write this one paragraph for my next grant application, due in one week. It just occurred to me that I was trying to present three distinct yet overlapping themes, all of which are important to the basis of the proposal, within this single paragraph. I’m now switching to introducing each theme separately, then will tie them all together into a nice neat little package at the end. And blammo! – there’s my hypothesis, bitches. In bold print. And the above paragraph signals to me why I rarely blog anymore. That was, honestly, the crappiest thing I may have ever written on The Tightrope.
